Notice2026 On-Campus Career Information Session
This year’s “On-Campus Career Guidance Session” was held on the afternoon of Monday, July 6, with admissions representatives from seven universities and professional colleges, as well as ten vocational schools in attendance.
In Japan, students are encouraged to attend open campus events when deciding on their preferred schools. Since these events allow students to understand the curriculum and atmosphere of a school before enrollment, some schools even make attendance a requirement for application. At our school, we not only encourage participation but also provide guidance on how to make the most of these events.
We first explained the importance of attending open campus events and how to make the most of them during our “Career Guidance” sessions. We then invited the representatives responsible for presenting at each school’s open campus events to visit our school, where they were able to practice their presentations during an on-campus career guidance session.
Unlike other Japanese language schools, we did not hire a specialized agency; instead, we negotiated individually with each school we wanted our students to consider, ensuring that all participating schools were ones we actively recommend for further education. We created an environment conducive to providing the best possible school presentations and were also able to showcase our school’s high-quality learning environment to representatives from each institution. Although many schools had inquired about the timing of this year’s event, after it concluded, we received numerous requests to “please invite us again next year,” marking another successful year for the event.
