To All Students and Faculty Members

Recently, there have been frequent incidents of mobile power banks catching fire.
While mobile power banks are extremely convenient, there is a risk of accidents if you do not choose the right product or use it correctly.
Please make sure to understand the correct usage methods and use them safely .

[Key Points for Selecting a Product]
・Purchase products with the PSE mark from a reputable retailer.
・Before purchasing, check the latest information to ensure the product has not been recalled.
・Understand that inexpensive “non-genuine batteries” carry risks.

【Points to Note During Use】
(1) Avoid subjecting the product to strong impacts.
(2) Avoid using or storing the product in high-temperature environments.
(3) Charge the product in a safe location, preferably while you are awake.
(4) If you notice any abnormalities, stop using the product immediately.
(5) If a fire breaks out, ensure your safety first, and if possible, extinguish the fire with a large amount of water.
(6) Check product recall information regularly.
(7) Follow the rules for carrying devices on public transportation.
