For current students【First-Come, First-Served】Call for Participants: Kabuki Appreciation Class on Saturday, June 6
To All Students (This invitation is extended to students at both the university and the Japanese language school)
The Institute for Japanese Culture is recruiting participants for a “Kabuki Appreciation Workshop” as part of its program to provide hands-on experiences with Japanese culture.
During the workshop, participants will receive commentary interspersed with live demonstrations by performers, followed by a performance of a Kabuki masterpiece. Why not take this opportunity to experience the world of Kabuki?
*Please note that commentary will not be provided in English.
Date and Time: Saturday, June 6, 2026, 11:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m. (tentative)
Venue: Sun Pearl Arakawa (Nearest station: “Arakawa-kuyakusho-mae Station” on the Toden Arakawa Line)
Fee: Workshop participation fee 1,000 JPY(Payment in advance) * Transportation costs to the venue are the responsibility of each participant
Number of Participants: 10(First-come, first-served)
