EventsThe entrance ceremony for the April 2026 academic year was held
The 40th Spring Enrollment Ceremony was held on Thursday, April 2, 2026.
This spring, a total of 168 students—including 162 full-time students and 6 short-term students—enrolled from 10 countries, including Taiwan, South Korea, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Sri Lanka.
The ceremony began with an opening address by our school’s Principal, Shizuka Kurata, followed by congratulatory remarks on behalf of the guests from Mr. Huang Sheng-ming, Director of Education at the Taipei Representative Office in Japan, and Ms. Vu Thi Lien Phuong, First Secretary and Director of Education at the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Japan. A congratulatory message from Mr. Masakazu Osawa, President of Mitsubishi UFJ Bank, Ltd., was also read aloud.
Next, representatives of the new students—Lin Chi-ju from Taiwan, Ha Xuan Dung from Vietnam, Park Gib-eom from South Korea, and Su Myat Htaik San from Myanmar—took the stage and delivered speeches that conveyed their strong determination to study abroad.

In addition, on the occasion of the entrance ceremony, we received congratulatory floral arrangements from: Mr. Lee Yi-yang, Ambassador of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in Japan; Mr. Tatsuro Takagi, General Manager of Mitsubishi UFJ Bank, Ltd.; Mr. Motoki Ito, President and CEO of Tojin Student Hall Co., Ltd.; Mr. Nagatoku Kikukawa, Chairman of the Kyoritsu International Exchange Scholarship Foundation;Mr. Noboru Yagi, Chairman of the Tokyo International University Kasumi Association, sent us heartwarming congratulatory floral arrangements.
These beautiful floral arrangements made the ceremony even more meaningful.
